The field trip to the ballet went so well. Archway Trivium East was one of the youngest groups that were there. Our class behaved extremely well. The dancing was beautiful. I know that scholars enjoyed it. Whenever I glanced at any one of them their eyes were glued to the stage, taking in everything. As we left I saw several boys and girls attempt to copy the leaps and spins that they had seen on stage.
MATH FLASHCARDS: I had several parents ask where they could get math flash cards. You can find them at Dollar Tree, Target, and any other store that has a education section. You can also make you own using index cards. Last year I had found a website where you could make specific flashcards and then print them. I have since discovered that I can no longer do so on that website. If anyone happens to find a website where you can create and print your own flashcards please let me know. This week we are focusing on adding numbers through 20. Another information sheet was sent home in your child's red folder today. UPCOMING EVENTS: Friday, November 3rd - Half Day Dismissal, 12:00PM (Please send a healthy snack for your child to eat during recess.) Friday, November 10th - No School: Veteran's Day Observed November 16th - 17th - Usborne Book Fair Friday, November 17th - Literary and Historical Figure Day Please see the Athenian Echo for more details on upcoming events. Enjoy your week!
