Hello there! It is only Monday and already it is a full week!
FIELD TRIP: We are currently studying habitats in science. As a wrap-up to our habitat unit, the first grade will be visiting the Wildlife World Zoo on Thursday, March 29th. The permission form and information letter regarding chaperones will be placed in your child's red homework folder on Tuesday. MATH: We are finishing up our brief unit on multiplication this week with a review tomorrow and a chapter test on Wednesday. Our division unit will begin on Thursday. The "friendly notes" page for division will be placed in your child's red homework folder Thursday. POETRY: We continue to study "Bird Talk" by Aileen Fisher. We have found the rhyming pattern and put the poem to a song. Poetry recitations will be next week. UPCOMING DATES: Tuesday, February 27th - PSO Peter Piper Pizza Night, 4:30 - 7:30 pm Friday, March 9th - No school: ATE in-service March 12th - 16th - No school: Spring Break Have a great week!
